La verdad es que no lo he terminado, pero las cosas no se quedan ahí, pues lo que sucede es que por ahora simplemente no tengo ganas de trabajar en él. Comencé en julio y desde que
Amanda Jean puso su
post acerta del quilt along, no lo pensé 2 veces y me apunté. Bueno, lo único que pensé fue que hacer 1 block al día no podía ser complidado.
I started in july since Amanda Jean posted about the quilt along, i didn't think 2 times and I was in there. Well, all I thought was to do 1 block per day could not be difficult.
Estaba super emocionada con este proyecto, pues además de que se trataba de un quilt bastante lindo y las telas que elegí me gustan mucho, era la primera vez que estaba a un quilt along, y para mí la idea de que muchas mujeres en diferentes lugares del mundo estuviéramos haciendo esto era nuevo e interesante! I was pretty excited about this project, as well as that it was a pretty nice quilt and chose fabrics that I really like, was the first time I was at a quilt along, and for me the idea that many women in different places the world were doing this was new and interesting!
Tuve algunos días en que trabajé mucho y después de eso fue disminuyendo mi productividad, no porque ya no estuviera interesada, sino porque había más cosas por hacer: más quilts por comenzar, cojines, proyectos nuevos, telas nuevas, etc... I had some days when I worked a lot and after that it was decreasing my productivity, not because I was not interested, but because there were more things to do: to start more quilts, cushions, new projects, new fabrics, etc y por fin terminé los bloques que necesitaba y
creí que este quilt estaba llegando a su parte final...
and finally I finished the blocks I needed and I thought this quilt was coming to an end part....
pero estaba equivocada...

The night I finished the top I left it on the floor of my sewing room ... my mom asked me if Gumaro or Lucio can damaged and I said no, they were always where we were we...a la mañana siguiente todo en la casa parecía normal... hasta que llegué a mi cuarto de costura para descubrir que ¡¡¡había caca sobre el quilt!!! ohhhh sí, lo dije bien, c a c a... y por la actitud de mis perros pude saber quién había sido.... Lucio!
the next morning everything seemed normal in the house ... until I got my sewing room to discover that he had poop on the quilt! ohhhh yes, I said well, p o o p. .. and for the attitude of my dogs I know who did it .... Lucio! ....
por supuesto que eso no es normal, digo mis perros no andan buscando mis quilts para cagarse en ellos, pero algo sucedió por la noche que hizo que Lucio se levantara y al ver la puerta cerrada decidió hacerlo ahí... afortunadamente no tenía diarrea... of course that was not normal, usally my dogs don't search my quilts to shit on them, but something happened at night that caused Lucio stood and decided to do it there ... fortunately he didn't have diarrhea ...
así que tuve que lavar el top con mucho cuidado, para que no se deshilachara...
so I had to wash the top with pretty care, so that no fluffing ... y claro después de ese episodio, Alex y Verónica bromeaban con que este quilt ahora debía llamarse el poop quilt... and after that episode, Alex and Verónica joked that this quilt now had to be called the poop quilt ...iba a ser un regalo para mi hermano :D... pero no puedo regalarlo así! it would be a gift for my brother :D... but I can not give it away like that!
después de eso decidí hacer quilting... y tampoco salió bien... algo pasaba con la máquina y mi walking foot... y el resultado (desastrozo) fue este: after that I decided quilting ... and neither went well ... something was wrong with the machine and my walking foot ... and the result (disastrous) was this:
así que hice una pausa... so i made a pause...
el quilt aún me está esperando para que lo termine... sólo no he tenido ganas... tengo que descoser las lineas que cosí y volver a empezar el quilting (tal vez le cambie la tela de atrás), pero por ahora simplemente no tengo nada de ganas hacerlo, por lo que si coser y hacer quilting es algo placentero para mí, y si esto no lo es, prefiero apartarlo hasta que mi ánimo (con este quilt) mejore... the quilt still is waiting for me to finish ... just i don't want it now... I have to rip it the sewed lines and start the quilting (maybe I change the back), but for now just I don't want to make anithing with it, if quilting and sewing are a big pleasant thing for me, and if it isn't, I prefer aside until my mood (with the quilt) be better ... 
y sabes cuál es la peor parte de todo esto para mí? lo incómodo de la sensación de que tengo ahí algo sin resolver... y tengo que aprender a lidiar con esa sensación... y hacer las cosas más fáciles para mí. and do you know how is the worst part to me of all? the uncomfortable feeling that i have something there then is unresolved ... but i'll learn to play with this feeling... and make easier the things to me.

me encantó el resultado, afortunadamente se quedan en mi casa :) pero tal vez podrían ser un regalo perfecto para aquéllos que celebran San Valentín... I loved the outcome, happily they stay in my house:) but perhaps they could be a perfect gift for those who celebrate Valentine's Day ...
