weekend work

Estoy contenta.

I'm happy. I finished the quilt top, the back and I made the basting yesterday. It was really hard working with those wovens, they are a bit elastic when ironing, and the worst part is the threads come out very easy and also, they are a little heavy...
so I'm wondering why I was working with them? I don't know, I think just because they are sooo beautiful...!

feliz inicio de semana
happy start of week!

  6. Your quilt is lovely! I'm currently working on a quilt made with these beautiful cross weaves. I agree with everything you said about using them, the stretch and fray and the challenge of it, but the fabrics are so lovely I think it will be worth all the effort!

I'll be watching your blog to see yours all quilted! I am sure it will be just gorgeous!
