Ayer fuimos al centro de la ciudad y visitamos una feria de Oaxaca. Escuchamos música, vimos mucha artesanía, comimos los platillos típicos y probamos unas nieves de garrafa deliciosas!!
Yesterday, we went to downtown and visited an exhibition from Oaxaca. We heard music, look a lot of art hand made crafts, we ate the typical food and tasted some delicius hand made ice cream!!
esto es un poco de lo que vimos: this is a bit of what we watch:
dulces, manzanas y chapulines!
candy, apples and grasshoppers (yep, to eat!!)
nieves de garrafa y moles...!!
hand made ice cream and mole..!!
algunos lindos vestidos bordados
some pretty embroidery dresses
un poco de música y baile, muñecas, pulseras...
a little music and dance, dolls, bracelets...
alebrijes! alebrijes! (hand made wood figures)
más ropa bordada a mano, joyería y por supuesto, barro negro...
more embroidery clothes, jewlery and of course black pottery vases and figures...
que tengas un buen inicio de semana!!!
have a great week!!
Gorgeous photos! I was researching Oaxacan crafts for work last year and would love to visit Oaxaca someday soon :)
ResponderEliminarI love the alebrijes figures. The spikey one is my favorite. They all look very mean and scary :)

ResponderEliminarI LOVE Oaxaca. My sister and I spent 5 months traveling around Mexico and spent most of our time in Oaxaca City and in Puerto Escondido. Love your pictures of it!
