corner view: typical architecture

that is part of Guadalajara down town, my city...

quarry, fountains, ironworks, double-height ceilings, so much windows and so much balconies, but I think these images can show you part of the typical architecture of the city, that sadly I must to say that some buildings have been deteriorating for lack of care or often demolished to make way for the "modernity"...

  1. I love your city and the architecture, it was so fun to be able to see it in the mid 80's. I love old buildings and even recognize a couple in the pictures. Thanks for sharing. I am doing a 'red' post today and I will be mentioning your blog. Thanks, for the idea, loved it.

  8. Wow, you have beautiful architecture! I love the look of these old houses and villas. Too bad some are deteriorating. I think more money should be spent on keeping pretty old houses alive than building ugly new apartments!
