con compañía / with company

Por lo general suelo estar sola cuando estoy cosiendo, bueno, quiero decir sin compañía humana, pues siempre tengo al lado a Gumaro o a Lucio o a los dos, pero con excepción de la música, casi siempre hay silencio, sólo se escucha el ruido de mi máquina de coser, o de tijeras o alguna mala palabra que de forma automática sale de mi boca cuando algo no anda bien con mi máquina de coser (o alguna breve plática con mis chuchos...) y aún así, disfruto mucho mis momentos cosiendo, pues es algo que me aleja del trabajo de oficina que hago a diario... me relaja... me hace sentir más productiva y creativa... y es un momento en el que estoy conmigo misma...

Usually when i'm sewing i'm usually lonely, well, i mean without human company, because i always have with me Lucio or Gumaro or both, but with the exception of music, there is almost always quiet, only hear the sound of my sewing machine or scissors or a bad word that automatically comes out of my mouth when something not right with my sewing machine (or a brief chat with my doggys ...) and yet, i enjoy a lot my time sewing because it is something that i'm away from the office work i do every day ... relaxes me ... makes me feel more productive and creative ... and is a moment for myself ...

Ayer tuve otra tarde de costura con mi mamá y también es chidísimo hacer esto con ella, pues durante ese rato estamos platicando, riendo, recordando y ayudándonos en lo que cada una hace y ella siempre tiene disposición para enseñarme todo lo que ella sabe hacer.

Yesterday i had another afternoon sewing with my mom and also is really cool do this with her, because during this time we are talking, laughing, remembering and helping us and she is always available to teach me everything she knows.

Ya terminé la parte superior de mi "scrappy log cabin" y me falta preparar la parte de atrás para hacer el "basting", pero así está quedando:

mi mamá y yo terminamos ayer la parte superior de los quilts que empezamos a hacer al mismo tiempo. Están quedando super lindos, pero no les he tomado fotos aún. Hoy tengo planeado ir a la tienda de telas a buscar tela para la parte de atrás...
