little visitors

Hace unas semanas y a manera de festejo por la llegada de la primavera, tuvimos en casa una reunión con amigos. Sabina estuvo feliz, conociendo y reconociendo rostros, conviviendo con otros niños, caminando de un lado a otro, jugando, comiendo... hubo abundante comida, bebidas, música y los pequeños tuvieron algunas actividades y al final creo que todos la pasamos bien. Fue la primera vez que organizo algo en donde los niños están involucrados y me encantó la idea de tener constantemente pequeños visitantes en casa. Espero vuelvan pronto.

A few weeks ago, and as a celebration for the arrival of spring, we had a meeting at home with friends. Sabina was really happy, knowing and recognizing people, socializing with other children, walking from one place to other, playing, eating ... there was plenty food, beberages, music and we had some activities for the kids and at the end I think everyone had a good time. It was the first time we organize something where children are involved and I loved the idea of ​​constantly having little visitors at home. I hope they return soon.

Alex descubrió una extraña y hermosa criatura en la fuente... tal vez los días calurosos también hicieron de las suyas con ella, pero jugando con el agua parece divertirse....     Alex found a weird beautiful creature at the fountain... maybe the hot days was to much for it too but looks like is having great time playing with water....

Ok sólo es una Mantis, cuando la veo de cerca me gusta imaginar que podría ser otra cosa, algo raro...    Ok is just a Mantis, but when I saw it very close I like imagine it is something diferent and weird...

Estamos teniendo un buen día en casa, con mucho calor que nos hace pasar tiempo en el jardín, con bebidas refrescantes y comidas ligeras... yo he estado ocupada en el jardín con mis macetas, limpiando, acomodando, plantando y replantando, y siempre con la compañía de alguno de mis chuchos, mientras que Alex está dedicado a la construcción de una cabañita en el jardín que será su próximo taller de carpintería...   We're having a great day at home with a lot of heat that makes us spend time in the garden, with cold drinks and snacks... I have been busy in the garden with my pots, cleaning, arranging, planting and replanting, and always in the company of some of my buddies, while Alex is dedicated to building a little cabin in the garden will be his next workshop carpentry...

También tenemos planes para mañana, pues tendremos la visita de mi prima Marcela quien viene con su esposo y su bebé y haremos una comida en mi casa con la mayoría de la familia que vive en Guadalajara. Tengo ganas de verla y conocer a su pequeño, así que es muy emocionante para mí su llegada!     We also have plans for tomorrow, because we'll have the  visit of my cousin Marcela (my very most favorite cousing) who came with her ​​husband and baby, so we'll have a meal in my house with the most of the family who live in Guadalajara. I want to see her and meet her little guy, so it is very exciting for me her arrival!

y justo ahora mientras estoy escribiendo están sonando a lo lejos truenos y parece que comienza a nublarse... Alex no quiere que llueva aún... yo tampoco quiero que se le moje lo que está haciendo pero estoy ansiosa porque la temporada de lluvias comience pronto!

and just while I'm writing I can ear thunders at the distance and the sky is turning cloudy here... Alex doesn't want to rains yet ... and I don't want all his work be wet too but I'm pretty excited because the rainy season starts soon!

hubo un poco de todo...cociné para mi mamá, corté telas para un nuevo proyecto... pasé tiempo en el jardín, probando los primeros tomates y disfrutando de un buen clima (los quilts no sólo se usan en invierno!) ... por supuesto que gran parte de mis días también lo paso en mi trabajo... pero creo que sería aburrido mostrar fotos de mí leyendo en una oficina, verdad?

There was a bit of everything ...I was cooking for my mom, I cut fabric for a new project ... I spent time in the garden, tasting the first tomatoes and enjoying good weather (the quilts are not used only in winter!)... ... also there is the time time that I spend on my work... but i think it can be to boring if I show you pictures of me reading in an office, right?
