little visitors

Hace unas semanas y a manera de festejo por la llegada de la primavera, tuvimos en casa una reunión con amigos. Sabina estuvo feliz, conociendo y reconociendo rostros, conviviendo con otros niños, caminando de un lado a otro, jugando, comiendo... hubo abundante comida, bebidas, música y los pequeños tuvieron algunas actividades y al final creo que todos la pasamos bien. Fue la primera vez que organizo algo en donde los niños están involucrados y me encantó la idea de tener constantemente pequeños visitantes en casa. Espero vuelvan pronto.

A few weeks ago, and as a celebration for the arrival of spring, we had a meeting at home with friends. Sabina was really happy, knowing and recognizing people, socializing with other children, walking from one place to other, playing, eating ... there was plenty food, beberages, music and we had some activities for the kids and at the end I think everyone had a good time. It was the first time we organize something where children are involved and I loved the idea of ​​constantly having little visitors at home. I hope they return soon.

avocado delight

el domingo pasado visitamos una huerta de aguacate... fue un bonito día, Sabina lo disfrutó mucho y nosotros cada minuto que estamos con ella... 

fue maravilloso ver tantos aguacates colgando por todos lados!

last sunday we went to a avocado orchard... it was a lovely day, Sabina enjoyed everything and we were happy to spend every minute with her.... 

and it was wonderful see so many avocados hanging everywhere!

the weekend

Tuvimos un soleado fin de semana. Las lluvias recientes nos han puesto el pasto totalmente verde y abundante y las gallinas y los pollitos lo han estado disfrutando mucho cada que las dejamos salir del gallinero... y a mi me encanta verlas correr por todo el jardín!

hoy amaneció lloviendo... totalmente perfecto!

Sabina ya sola se cambia boca abajo o boca arriba y pareciera que va a empezar a gatear en cuarquier momento, así que los quilts han sido de mucha utilidad para ponerla en el piso y que comience a jugar y ejercitarse...

It was a beautiful sunny weekend. The recent rains we have completely green and abundant grass and chickens have been enjoying it every time we leave them out of the chicken coop... and I love to see them run along the garden!

Today we had a rainy morning ... just perfect!

Sabina is changing upside down or back by herself already and it seems that she will  start to crawl in any moment, so my quilts have been very useful to put her on the floor and started to play and exercise ...

Fue un buen fin de semana. El tiempo que pasamos en casa estuvo rico, disfrutando de estar juntos y con cero prisas. Desde el viernes Sabina dejó de dormir con nosotros y aunque se sintió raro verla ya en su propia habitación también ha sido un buen cambio para ella, que se ve a gusto en su propio lugar y parece que su sueño no se ha afectado. Yo estoy feliz con tenerla, con escuchar sus sonidos, su risa, con verla descubrir colores y texturas, por su cada vez más creciente curiosidad por nuestros perros, que últimamente le provocan carcajadas... qué puedo decir, simplemente la adoro y agradezco cada momento que puedo pasar con ella...  

It was a great weekend. The time spent at home was good, enjoying being together and without any rush. Since last Friday Sabina isn't sleeping with us anymore and although it felt weird to see her in her own bedroom, it seems like is also a good change for her, she looks happy at her own place and her dream doesn't looks disturbed. I'm happy to have her, to hear her sounds, her laughter, to see how she discovers colors and textures, or her every day growing curiosity about our dogs, which sometimes made her laugh so hard... what can I say, I adore her and I appreciate every moment I can spend with her ...
