Hello y happy saturday!

esta semana el correo me trajo un montón de cariño y de cosas lindas que les quiero compartir... El mes pasado tuve un intercambio organizado por Anna... así que hice y le envié una bolsa, té y algunas cositas más a Carmen.... y esta semana recibí una linda y útil bolsa de red que Mary me envió junto con una deliciosa dotación de té y chocolates... gracias Mary, no he podido parar de comer esos ricos Ghirardelli!!

This week the mail brought me a lot of love and beautiful things that I want to share here ... Last month I participated in a swap organized by Anna... I sent to Carmen a handmade grocery bag, tea and some more things.... and this week I received a beautiful and useful net bag that Mary sent me along with delicious tea and chocolates ... Thanks so much Mary, I can't stop to eat those delicious Ghirardelli!

unos días después y de forma inesperada llegó un paquete lleno de cariño y con una linda pila de telas que Karen me envió, gracias amiga, fue una sorpresa super linda y esas telitas tendrán un buen uso! some days later and unexpectedly I got a package full of love and with a lovely pile of fabrics that Karen sent me! thanks a lot my friend, it was a beautiful surprise and those great fabrics will have a good use!

y finalmente otro intercambio...  recibí esos hermosos sellos que Rike me envió desde Alemania... me encantan!! si quieren ver más de sus diseños visiten su tienda que está llena de cosas lindas! ...Danke! 

and another lovely swap... I got those gorgeous stamps that Rike sended to me from Germany... and I love them!! if you want to see more of her beautiful designs just visit her shop that is full of beautiful stuff!... Danke!

Finalmente llegó mi paquete de intercambio, proveniente de Holanda....

Esta funda es la que Petra hizo para mi... verdad que es hermosa?? me encantan las telas que ella usó y el lino, me encanta la la textura que agrega...

Finally I got my swap package, from the Netherlands ....

This pillow case is that Petra made for me ... I love it, it is really beautiful!! I love that the fabrics she used and the linen, that adds a very gorgeous texture...

Y esta es la funda de cojín que yo hice para ella... usé 28 cuadrados de 2.5" de diferentes telas con muchos colores y el contarno en en blanco sólido para lograr que resaltaran...

And this is the pillow case that I made for her... I used  28 - 2.5" squares in a variety of fabrics and colors using white solid fabric for sashing to make the colorful pieces can be stand out...

y ella me consintió con esta preciosa guirnalda de crochet...

She spoiled me with this gorgeous crochet garland......

El día del intercambio de primavera llegó y por fin recibí mis fat quarters y el regalo que me hizo la linda y talentosa Heleen... el paquete llegó de Holanda y además de estar muy lindo envuelto, encontré una nota con palabras amables de ella.

Que si soy alguien con suerte? ahhhh yo creo que sí, pues la telas que ella eligió para mí son muy bonitas, venían dentro de una pequeña bolsa y además me envió unos lápices y un cuaderno con una funda hecha por ella con unas telas lindísimas: llenas de flores y de color, con un pajarito bordado en el frente y con un pequeño detalle super lindo: un zapato de cerámica típico de Holanda. Simplemente me encantó!!

Gracias Heleen!!!!! estoy disfrutando mucho lo que hiciste para mí!!

the spring swap day is here and finally i received my fat quarters and the gift that the lovaly and talented Heleen made for me... the little parcel arrives from Holland and it was so pretty wrap and I found a very kind note from her.

Really I'm a lucky girl, i'm pretty sure about it, because the fabrics that she choosed for me are so cute and they was inside of a beautiful bag, also she send me some pencils and a notebook with a fantastic cover made for her with beautiful fabrics, full of color and flowers, with a cute embroidery bird on front and with a little cute detail: a ceramic typical shoe. I just love it!

Thanks Heleen, i'm enjoying so much all you made for me!!!

y bueno, esto es lo que yo le envié: una canasta redonda de que hice de parchwork y los fatquarters que elegí para ella. Espero que los disfrute!

Mi amiga Rosário y yo hicimos un intercambio intercontinental de telas y ayer recibí mi paquete con muchas telas fantásticas! las telas en color rosa son muuuy lindas, muy femeninas, también me gustaron mucho los algodones portugueses y por supuesto, la chita (amarilla), que es una tela típica de Portugal...

My friend Rosário and i made an intercontinental fabric swap and yesterday i received my package with many great fabrics! the pinks are sooo cute, very feminine, i also really liked the cotton portuguese and of course, the chita (the yellow one), which is a typical fabric of Portugal...

por si eso fuera poco, Rosário me mandó de regalo esta belleza de listón.... no es adorable? As if that were not enough, Rosário sent me for a gift this beautiful ribbon .... don't you think this is adorable?
