Me hice este delantal hace unas semanas, es super práctico y perfecto para hacer trabajo de jardín y lo he estado usando con frecuencia, sobretodo en fin de semana, así que hoy lo traigo puesto, pues estamos gozando de un hermoso cielo azul, parece que no tendremos lluvia, así que he pasado la mañana en el jardín en compañía de mis perros que me siguen para todos lados... y ahora si me disculpan, tengo que volver a mis macetas...

I made this apron a few weeks ago, it's pretty useful and perfect for gardening and I've been using frequently, specially on weekends, so I'm here wearing it today because we are enjoying a beautiful blue sky and seems like not rain for today, so I've spending the morning at the garden with my dogs, who follows me to everywhere... and now if you excuse me, I need to come back with my herb pots...

Nuestra pequeña huerta sigue dándonos de comer. Pepinos, algunos pequeños jitomates, ejotes y chiles han estado en nuestros platos. Me encanta estar en casa y tener la oportunidad de ir ahí, cortar algo y comerlo.

Our little garden is still giving us food. Cucumbers, small tomatoes, green beans and pepers have been in our plates. I love be at home and have the opportunity to go there, cut something and eat it.

He tenido algunos días pesados en la oficina y he estado lejos de los blogs, pero prometo ponerme al día pronto. He estado también trabajando en mi cuarto de costura en algunas cosas para mí y la casa, en algunos encargos que me han hecho y algunas más para la venta, como esta bufanda de lino/algodón y el bolso. Estarán pronto en la tienda.

I've had some hard days at the office and I've away from blogs, but I promess catch up sooner. Also, I've working in my sewing room on some things for me and our home, in some orders that I have and a few more for sale, like these linen/cotton scarf and that clutch. They will be soon at my shop.

cruces

Desde un principio hice el dibujo del diseño pensando en hacer unos cojines para nuestra cama, pero no los quería hacer iguales. Las cruces son algo divertido para coser y me parece que lucen modernas, creo que podría hacer un quilt entero con ellas.

Para las fundas una vez que terminé los bloques, los hilvané con una tela de algodón y acolché con lineas rectas y siguiendo contornos. Esta vez no usé batting. El tamaño final es de 24".... y como siempre, se siente bien terminar algo!

At the beginning, I made the sketch thinking about make a pillows set for our bed, but I don't wanted they was equal. The crosses are pretty fun to sew and they looks modern, I think I can make a quilt just with those.

For the pillow covers, I basted the finished blocks with a musli and I did the quilting with straight lines and following the borders. I don't used batting this time. The final size is about 24" square. ...and like always, feels good finish a proyect!
